Bitmain Digital Mining Conference

My first foray into the Crypto space was a thrilling challenge, in designing and executing the Bitmain Digital Mining Conference in Miami. I was not only responsible for producing the mainstage that included a full day of internal and external speakers and panels, but a small sponsorship tradeshow activating in the pre-function space outside the ballroom.

Conceptualization & Design
In selecting the venue to host Bitmain’s Digital Mining Conference I looked for a space that could accommodate the multitude of needs desired by client including, a mainstage presentation for 400 in person guests, a small sponsorship tradeshow, lunch time buffet for all onsite guests, a VIP dinner for 175 and small meetings throughout the day. Armed with AutoCAD and SketchUp, I developed spacial layouts and floorplans to communicate the event flow to my client as well as trade-show booth designs and renderings that my client could use to sell to sponsors. To maximize seating in the room a shallow stage design utilizing textured drapery and lights helped to blend Bitmain’s cool color palette with the rooms warm tones.
Execution & Coordination
I acted as a liaison between the client, trade show booth stakeholders, and third-party vendors, I ensured every element of the conference was synergized—from the intricate set design to day of show flow and the live stream coordination. I also managed graphic production and furniture set-up for all 24 ready made tradeshow booths.
