Planning & Design
Tasked with the conceptualization and development of a 4500 sq ft booth experience the seamlessly showcased multiple business units for TetraPak at the ProFood Tech event in Chicago. This project stood as a testament to my ability to merge physical architecture with advanced digital technologies, creating an immersive environment that not only showcased TetraPak’s extensive portfolio, but also underscored their commitment to environmental sustainability and advanced manufacturing techniques.
Execution & Challenges
I first began working with each business unit to understand their needs in terms of structure and technology, as well as their goals for convention. Leveraging tools like AutoCAD and SketchUp, I designed the layout, factoring in the flow of foot traffic to ensure each attendee’s interaction was logical, engaging and informative. Central to the booth’s allure was the integration of touch-screen technology and an augmented reality application, which allowed visitors to explore TetraPak’s sustainability practices and product innovations in a compelling, interactive manner. The execution phase presented its unique challenges, from ensuring the precision of the digital hubs to the seamless integration of augmented reality within the physical space. My project management skills were put to the test as I coordinated with a team of talented professionals, including digital content creators, architects, and AV technicians.
The TetraPak booth was a resounding success, drawing praise for its innovative use of technology and its immersive, educational experience. Attendees were not just passive observers but active participants, exploring TetraPak’s contributions to sustainability through a blend of physical and digital narratives. This project highlighted my ability to lead complex, multi-faceted marketing activations, underscoring the role of creativity, technical skills, and strategic project management in delivering a project that surpassed client expectations and engaged attendees on multiple levels.
